Energy IndustryRewardPay allows Australian businesses to pay a wide range of expenses – including suppliers, payroll, superannuation, ATO tax obligations, rent, contractors, marketing, food and beverage, utilities, equipment and accounting costs. Suppliers receive funds directly into their Australian bank account. Payments to individuals or organisations without an active ABN, and overseas recipients, are not permitted.
RewardPay offers three tiers. The Free tier has no platform fee – you only pay a processing fee per transaction (Amex from 2.10% ex GST, Visa/Mastercard 1.25% ex GST, Bank from 0.50% ex GST). The Silver tier is $79/month with slightly lower Amex rates. The Gold tier is $159/month with RewardPay’s best Amex rates starting from 1.90% (ex GST). All platform fees are billed 3 months in advance. Processing fees are a deductible business expense – consult your accountant for advice specific to your situation.
Signing up is free and takes less than 5 minutes. Go to rewardpay.com.au and click Sign Up. You will need your ABN, business name and address, email address, and mobile number. Once your account is created, you will need to verify your identity before making your first payment.
